Allow User Corrections

Allow User Corrections

Nearly all standard and specialty questions have Allow User Corrections in the Question Setting. However, Allow User Corrections works differently by question types:

  • For closed-ended (Standard and Specialty) or numeric questions where answers could affect the logic, only the latest response may be edited by participants (assuming this feature is activated).
  • For open-ended questions that do not affect the logic, participants are able to revise their responses at any point before finalizing the survey. But please note that if the probing is enabled for the open-ended question, then we won't re-ask the probing question after the participants edit their answers. The probing question will be based on their initial answers.
  • Allow Users Correction on the question level, rather than individual answers or choices. This means in the case of specific question types or popup questions that need multiple answers, the participants can only revise the entire question, they can not just modify a single selection or answer. (For specialty questions, it's possible that there are logics within the multiple answers, so to avoid complexity, we restrict it to the question level)
