How can I check if my question or option logic is working?
Condition Logic Indicator
When users create questions with condition logic or hidden variables on the Question Builder, the Condition Logic Indicator allow users to test logic as they test questions OR to be able to know the logics they set are working using the Preview link (open link in new tab) or in the Preview page.
The Condition Logic Indicator will be applicable to all logic created with:
- The system text indicates why a particular question is shown based off a Pre-condition logic (which then ensures users if their logic is working).
- This is an example of a Condition Logic Indicator when a Pre-condition logic is met from a Choice question
B. Question Post-condition
- The system text validates why a follow-up question appears based on the previous answer. It will have a text that you were "directed to the question" based off on a question with a Post-condition or skipping logic.
- This is an example of a Condition Logic Indicator when a Post-condition logic is met from a Scale question
C. Option Condition
- The system text indicates why certain options are shown based off an option condition applied
- This is an example of a Condition Logic Indicator in the Preview page when the Option Conditions are met from a Choice question
D. Virtual Question
- The system text will indicate which variables are being captured based off a Virtual Question
- This is an example of a Condition Logic Indicator when the variable conditions are met from a Virtual Question

An important note:
The Condition Logic Indicator only shows why a certain question or a certain option is showing, but not why certain questions or options are not showing as Pre-conditions and Post-condition logic can be complex.
You can also preview your study without the Condition Logic Indicator feature by removing the "debugconditions=true" from the preview url when you "open in a new tab"
