How to republish a live study?

After the study is live, any changes that users will make on the Audience Page or Question Builder, will require republishing the study again to implement the changes on the live link. To republish a study here are the steps to follow:

1. In your Project Directory, click Edit on the project card

2.  It will lead users back to the Overview page of the Question Builder portal. Once the user is done with the edits/changes on the Audience Page or Question Builder, click Republish at the left side of the screen.

3. This will lead users to the Checkout page again and just click Republish at the bottom of the page. (When republishing a live study, note that this will not require additional project credit since it's just editing the same project).

Note that when republishing a study, the live link will be the same.

Important:

Please note that users cannot edit option values, rearrange existing options, or remove options in a live study to ensure data and dashboards stay consistent.

1. If users need to remove an option after the study is launched, there is a flexible workaround that users can apply a Condition (logic) to the specific answer option that you want to hide.

For example you want to hide the option Brand D, you can use the URL Metadata question in the Display if field (drop drown), then label the URL key as "hidden". Then set the Condition field to Equal [numeric] and label the Custom value as "1". With this display logic, this keeps it hidden from participants.

However, the option is still accessible if needed --- meaning option Brand D will only be shown if you add the parameter "&hidden=1" at the end of your live survey link such as https://demo.nexxt.in/p/raspberry?src=LOGIT&UID={unique_id}&hidden=1

2. Adding the same display logic above also works if you want to hide a question from a live survey. In the question card, click the Question Logic tab and add the Pre-condition using URL Metadata

How can I check again if the changes are reflected in the survey?

When users want to check the study again if the changes were reflected on the survey, click on Enable test mode to get a test link version of the live link and use the General link.

When using a panel recruitment, and users want to check the changes from the panel side and check if the redirect links are working. Under the name of the panel (i.e Logit), users will get the test mode version of the live link that the panel can use for any testing purposes.
