How to add OPTIONS?

Add New Options

The user can add options by typing the choices one by one by clicking +Add Option

Batch Add

The user can add options using copy-paste from a list/difference source/window by clicking Batch Add

The user can also bulk upload images for the image options, and the names of these image files will automatically become the default option text and labels. However, the user retains the ability to alter the option text and label later if needed.

Add From Library

The user can add options using the pre-determined list in the Library by clicking Library > Add from Library

Many available options are already in Text and Image format to make the survey chat more engaging to participants.

Save Options to Library

The user can save the options (More Actions > Save From Library) you created and they will be added to the "Add From Library" drop-down list

Piped Options

The user can insert, or "pipe," an answer from a previous question into a question at a later stage in the survey. You may choose to “pipe” a TEXT format answer or an IMAGE format answer, and you may also choose to “pipe” from SELECTED answers or UNSELECTED answers from a previous question.

When Enable skip is toggled on and there's only ONE option gets piped in, the system will automatically select that option and skip the question.

Please see more details about Piped Options here.

(+) Others Specify

The user can add Other responses and participants can type in and specify their answer (not in the listed option).

How can I make an exclusive answer?
(+) Not Applicable

The user can add any mutually exclusive option and edit the wording for Not Applicable (for example None of the above)

How to format OPTIONS?

Option Format

The users can specify the option formats and choose from text, image and both. This setting is applicable to

1 Text only format

2 Image only Format

- For image format, the labels will not be visible to participants but make sure to include the label for each option as a reference on your dashboard

3 Text and image format

Layout Settings

The users can edit the design for options (by clicking the button "Layout Settings").

Alignment

Controls the alignment or position of the option in the chatbot (Left/Center/Right)

Image display

Controls the look/shape of the options displayed (Circle or Square)

Image size

Controls how big or small you want the image options to be displayed (for IMAGE OPTIONS only)

Options per row (DESKTOP AND MOBILE)

Controls how many options showing in a row for Desktop vs Mobile

Please be aware that there's a tradeoff between the size of the image option and the number of options we can display in a row. Therefore, if you select a large image size, you will see that some numbers of options for display in a row are deactivated, as they are not feasible given the image size you have chosen.

Please note

The Layout Settings feature is only applicable for Choice/Rank Order/Hot Air Balloon Question Types.
